As the former Program Director for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) at the Missouri Institute of Mental Health for three years, Jermine led the program through partnership development, strategic planning, quality evaluation, statewide initiatives and instructor training and support.
He has been an MHFA instructor since 2008 and a National Trainer of MHFA since 2009. Mr. Alberty has a consistent high –quality training record and has conducted over 300 Mental Health First Aid courses since 2008 in 33 States, the District of Columbia, Washington and St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Alberty has trained over 3,000 mental health first aiders,
and has provided coaching meetings with instructors, conducted fidelity visits across the State of Missouri and served as a consultant in the development of Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid curricula.
